Hey Christa… When are you going to post my song on your podcast, huh? Huh?

I listened to both episodes of your podcast today on my way from The Hague to Amsterdam. I live in Amsterdam. I enjoyed it. I think you’ve got some good ideas and you have a very nice manner, approachable, knowledgable, good mood level. Wasn’t crazy about the non-knitters on episode two, but I understand their appeal and I didn’t hate it. I would love to hear a little intro music, might just tie it together.

Anyway, you’re doing an wonderful job. You have a great format and you speak authoritatively without it being annoying. Keep up the good work and know that you’re being listened to in Europe. (But I’m American.)

Just discovered your podcasts. You have a very pleasant speaking voice and I really enjoyed hearing about your approach to designing. I listen to many other knitting podcasts and yours is definitely complementary and covers new topics. Good luck finding a recording setup/place that minimizes ambient sound - it’s got to be hard without spending a bunch for specialized equipment! The background noise was just a bit distracting, but not so much that it took away from the podcast. I was surprised that the “non-knitter” podcasters portion had the poorest sound quality - maybe there’s something you can do to reduce the background noise.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed your first two episodes and hope to hear more!

BTW - I didn’t have a clue what hooping was (at first I thought it had something to do with embroidery hoops) until I checked out your web site. Ohhh so that’s what it’s all about!

Hi Christa-I heard about your podcast from David on the “Sticks & String” podcast-he gave you a nice mention. I love that you sent questions to other podcasters-that was a great idea. Anyway, just wanted to drop you a line that I really enjoyed your show & look forward to more! Thanks,
Shannon

Hey, Christa! I just finished listening to both of your episodes and wanted to tell you that I really enjoy your podcast. I think you have some great features and ideas. Keep it up!
I also want to say thanks for providing entertainment on a boring Friday afternoon at work. I was nodding off at my desk while trying to force my way through a report, decided to turn on Sticks & String to keep myself going, and had to listen to your show at David’s suggestion. Thank you so much for keeping my brain from shutting down completely!
Sincerely,
Miss Lime

Hi Christa!

I’ve been listening to you since the beginning (all THREE episodes!), and I’ve really enjoyed your podcast so far.

I wanted to respond to your request for two things. First, the sound quality is much, much better on your headset microphone. I would only recommend that you consider placing it a little further from your mouth so that your p’s don’t pop quite as much.

Second, I would love to be a test knitter. I am an ambitious advanced beginner, and an editor at heart, so I think I could really help you.

Thanks again for this knitting podcast. It’s really great.
