Hi Christa,
Just letting you know I LOVE LISTENING TO YOUR PODCAST! I’m not a huge knitter, however, your podcast is entertaining and you have a really great broadcasting voice - is that the right terminology?
Anyways you get the idea.
I have been thinking in grave detail about what my “perfect knitted gift” would be, and i’m not sure i have the knowledge to go into great details about the type of thread/yarn it would be, and the style keeps changing. One thing i do know is that it is black and cashmere - i’ll get back to you.
OK, well just wanted to give you some feedback from a non-knitter. You’re podcast keeps me company when i’m doing things round the apartment etc. And it is funny and informative, even though most of the type i’m not entirally sure what you knitters are talking about when you go into lingo mode. I still enjoy listening all the same!
Patiently waiting for Ep 5!
Best,
Rebecca

Hi Christa:
Do you have an RSS feed for your site? I use a non-iTunes podcatcher, and it really helps to be able to go to the RSS feed page.
Thanks–

Hey Christa - Great Podcast! I thought I’d look you up. Thanks for the great tip about the Knitpicks interchangeable circular needles - I just got them in the post - they’re great! Maybe I’ll see you next week after your sock knitting boot camp - I’m teaching at the evening session.
Take Care,
Sandra

My idea of the perfect knitted gift is the Russian Roses Shawl, featured in the Christmas 2007 issue of Vogue Knitting. It would be knit in a soft black Alpaca/Merino blend with numerous shades of red and pink roses playing wildly across the shawl. I’ve been knitting for 30 some years, but intarsia still eludes me as a skill that I can actually pull off.
