How’s my sound?  The new mic is in use starting at 17:20, (not at 15:30 as I originally said) with Gigavox’s Levelator applied to the whole episode to minimize the various volume changes!

Hey, I made it into a knitting podcast! Squeeeee! Guess there goes another one or two of my “fifteen minutes of fame”. ;->

Love the podcast, Christa. Keep them coming. Oh, and once you got the whole mike thing worked out, then the sound was better, though there was once or twice you faded into the back of my right ear, then bounced back out to both ears, if that makes any sense.

Thanks Erica! Yup, that made sense, and I noticed it too… I think that for some of the clips I recorded, I may have accidently hit the “pan” button that sets it farther to the left or right… so I’ll make sure to double-check that one every time, along with setting my mike down below my chin so I pop less :)

Thanks for the feedback!

Using the mike really helped the sound quality. I was thinking at the beginning, oh no, the mike is horrible, and then you mentioned the problem with the software setting and poof, the sound quality improved tremendously!

YAY! Another “Christa Knits!” episode. WOO-HOO!! I agree with Erica- your headset mic sounds MUCH better, and I’m glad you joined the “Levelator” train. (I use it too. It’s great!)

Thank you for playing an interview with the couple from “Total Podcastrophe.” They were awesome! I loved them so much that I’ve gone to iTunes and subscribed to their show- all because of you, Christa!! =D

Oh, and thank you so much for putting my promo on the end of your show. Did you ever get the audio comment I sent with my answer to the ultimate question? If not, let me know and I can send it to you again. ;)

If you’d like, I’d love to create some funky intro and outro clips for you. Let me know if you’d like anything specific and I’ll see what I can do. Cool?

Oh… Now I know what “Hooping” is. Ha ha! Can’t wait to try it while Chris and I are visiting. Crazy fun!!

Keep up the great work!
